Serial Number Notes
GRADALL
Most machines built in the 1980’ s, the first two digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture.
HYUNDAI
For all 11-digit serial numbers, the fifth character determines the year of manufacture, with A = 1994, B = 1995 and following sequentially there after. For 14-digit serial numbers, the 7th character determines the year of manufacture. A = 2010, B = 2011, C = 2012, D = 2013, E = 2014.
MAULDIN
For 7 digit serial numbers, the first two digits indicate the year of manufacture. For 9-10 digit serial numbers, the first two digits after the model indicate the year of manufacture. For equipment built since 1998, the third or forth character determines the year of manufacture.
MUSTANG
The first one or two digits of the serial number designate the year of manufacture for the 900 series of the 1990’ s. The third and fourth digits for all serial numbers that start with the letter S designate the year of manufacture for the 2000 series.

Serial Number Notes

STONE
For 7-digit serial numbers( 1990’ s vintage), the third and fourth digits indicate the year of manufacture. For equipment built in the 2000’ s, the 4-digit year of manufacture can be found within the serial number, starting with the 2nd or 3rd digit.
STOW
The first two digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture.
TAMPO
For all machines built in the 1980’ s, the third number in 7-digit serial numbers indicates the year of manufacture. Serial numbers for 1990’ s begin with the letters D or S, and the fourth and fifth digits indicate the year of manufacture.
TCI
For all machines built in the 1970’ s, the 2nd and 3rd digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture. Beginning in 1980 the 2nd and 3rd or 3rd and 4th digits indicate the year of manufacture. From 1984-1989, the second letter indicates the year of manufacture, starting with A indicating 1984 and following sequecially.
POWER CURBER
The first two or three digits of the serial number indicate the model or series, and the following three to four digits indicate the month and year of manufacture.
PUCKETT
All motor graders and pavers: the first two numbers designate the year of manufacture for the 9-11 digit serial numbers. For the machines with 8-digit serial numbers, the fifth and sixth digits indicate the year of manufacture.
RAMROD
For machines built from 1990-2002, the third and fourth digits indicate the year of manufacture. For machines with 6-8-digit serial numbers built after 2001, the first one-two digits of the serial number indicate the precise year of manufacture.
REYNOLDS
Since 2001, Serial numbers begin with the letter R, and the last to digits indicate the year of manufacture.
TEREX
For 8-digit serial numbers, the first digit indicates the year of manufacture. For serial numbers that begin with H, the fourth and fifth numbers indicate the year of manufacture.
TERRAMITE
The first two numbers after the model designation indicate the year of manufacture. Some machines built from 1990-1998 begin with the number 5, and the next number indicated the precise year of manufacture.( i. e. 50 = 1990, 51 = 1991).
TRENCH-TECH
The first two digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture.
VERMEER
The tenth character of the serial number indicates the year of manufacture according to the pattern found under ALL MODELS.
VIBROMAX
For 17-digit serial numbers, the tenth character determines the year of manufacture.
