Metso Restructures Organization and Leadership Team

Metso has reorganized its leadership team, effective Nov. 4, 2024, aimed at accelerating growth and improving operational efficiency.
The company’ s structure now includes four business areas— Aggregates, Minerals, Services and Consumables— and four corporate functions: Finance, Business Growth, HR and Legal.
The Metals business area has been discontinued, and a new Business Growth function has been created to enhance growth strategy implementation.
The newly appointed leadership team includes:
• Sami Takaluoma – President and CEO
• Eeva Sipilä – CFO( to depart by April 2025)
• Markku Simula – President, Aggregates
• Piia Karhu – President, Minerals
• Heikki Metsälä – President, Services
• Saso Kitanoski – President, Consumables
• Claudia Genin – Chief Growth Officer
• Carita Himberg – Chief People Officer
• Nina Kiviranta – General Counsel

Prinoth, a leader in crawler carriers and tracked vehicles, has officially opened an expanded production facility in Granby, Canada, following a $ 25 million investment. This significant expansion nearly doubles the facility ' s size and aims to meet the rising demand for Prinoth’ s high-quality products.
