Bobcat Expands Machine IQ Remote Engine Disable / Enable Across More Equipment

Bobcat Company has broadened the reach of its Machine IQ Remote Engine Disable / Enable technology, now compatible with a wider range of its equipment.
Initially launched in June 2024 for select compact track loaders and skid-steer loaders, the remotecontrol feature is now also available on certain models of compact excavators, compact wheel loaders and Toolcat utility work machines.
For models lacking factory-installed telematics, Bobcat offers an aftermarket kit that can be purchased through local dealers, enabling even more owners to access this security feature.
The Remote Engine Disable / Enable function allows equipment owners in North America and Europe to remotely control their machines ' engines via the Bobcat Owner Portal or Machine IQ app. With just a few clicks, owners can disable or re-enable the engine, deterring theft and aiding in fast recovery if unauthorized use is detected.
