Q1 types of machine inspections should be conducted?

Before operating a MEWP or telehandler, it is important to complete these four inspections:
# 1: Pre-Start Inspections
A pre-start inspection of the machine should be conducted to ensure it is safe to operate. This type of inspection includes, but is not limited to:

• Cleanliness – Check all surfaces for leakage, debris, slippery substances and / or foreign objects.
• Structure – Inspect the machine’ s structure for dents, damage, weld or parent metal cracks, as well as any other discrepancies.- Platform Gate – Verify the gate closes properly.- Lanyard Attach Points – Check the condition of all authorized lanyard anchorage points.
