SitePro Rentals Expands in South Texas

SitePro Rentals has expanded its footprint in South Texas with the opening of a new, larger facility in Laredo.
This 12,000-square-foot branch, situated on over four acres, replaces the former northern Laredo location off Tejas Loop, offering enhanced accessibility and service for the growing regional market.
The new location at 110 Wilcox Rd. strengthens SitePro ' s network of branches across South Texas, which includes McAllen, Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Houston.
By connecting its operations more efficiently, SitePro aims to improve fleet sharing and provide better equipment rental solutions for customers in and around Laredo.
“ The new and expanded Laredo branch will help us connect our Texas equipment rental locations to even further establish our presence in the southern part of the state, allowing us to share fleet more efficiently and better serve those needing equipment rental solutions in and around Laredo,” Abe Farrington, regional vice president of operations for SitePro Rentals said.

Over 500 Ohio Students Explore Careers in Equipment Technology at AEDF Event

On Dec. 12, more than 500 high school students from across Ohio attended the AED Foundation( AEDF) Industry Pathways: Career Experience event at the Pickaway Agriculture and Event Center.
The program introduced students to careers in equipment technology and operation, offering hands-on experiences in diesel engine repair, equipment operation and workforce readiness, including mock interviews.
Organized by the Youth Workforce Development Foundation in collaboration with AEDF and SkillsUSA Ohio, the event brought together students from 16 schools and career centers to interact with industry employers. The initiative is part of the federally funded Apprenticeships Build America program, addressing workforce shortages in the machinery sector.
" The AED Foundation is grateful to the Youth Workforce Development Foundation and SkillsUSA Ohio for their support in making this experience possible," Sean Fitzgerrel, AED Foundation senior director of workforce development and industry initiatives said.
" The goal of this initiative is to raise awareness about the highly rewarding, in-demand and high-tech career opportunities within the equipment industry but more importantly, to connect these students with rewarding career paths that will shape their futures and contribute to the growth and success of the equipment industry."
